Intensive week program where participants will learn to row in an 8+ sweep boat. The crew will receive coaching from a launch, as well as have 3 varsity junior rowers in the boat to help support the coaching. By the end of the week, the crew will have knowledge of the basic rowing technique and will be prepared to sign up and participate in the club’s junior novice program.
Each session will include a Monday evening land training from 5:30-7:30 PM to cover erg instruction, safety, terminology, equipment care and handling and on the water rowing sessions Wed-Fri from 5:30-7:30pm culminating in a Saturday on the water rowing session from 7:30-9:00AM.
Although participating in the DMRC Learn to Row Day on June 3rd is recommended, it is not required for boot camp participation.

Changes and Cancellations
Life happens. Students may switch crews up to two weeks before the first day of class as long as there is a seat available. Tuition will be refunded 100% minus a $2.00 processing fee if your cancellation is received more than two weeks before the first session for your registered crew. If the cancellation request is received within the two week period prior to the first session, refunds are only disbursed if the empty seat is filled by another student.
$150 for instruction and coaching for the weekend selected.
Upon graduation from boot camp weekend, participants have the option of joining DMRC in the Juniors program where members will row 5x/week, race in Fall Regattas and receive ongoing coaching.
