June 2 – 4, 2017

Intensive weekend program where participants will learn to row in an 8+ sweep boat.  The crew will receive coaching from a launch, as well as have two master rowers in the boat to help support the coaching.  By the end of the weekend, the crew will have knowledge of the basic rowing technique and will be prepared to sign up and participate in the club’s novice program.

Each session will include a Friday evening land training from 6:00-8:00PM to cover erg instruction, safety, terminology, equipment care and handling and a Saturday and Sunday on the water rowing session from 8:00-11:30AM.

Although participating in the DMRC Learn to Row Day on April 22 is recommended, it is not required for boot camp participation.
